Adult Sunday school: Our Sunday School program meets each Sunday after the worship service from 10:45 until 11:45 am. Classes are divided by age groups and are interactive in nature. The five adult classes are doing a variety of Bible studies, book studies, sermon discussion, or topics on current issues.
Choir: Directed by Duane Beck and assisted by Courtney Froehlich, the choir rehearses each Thursday at 7:00 pm September through April. All are welcome. The choir sings once a month during Sunday morning worship services and also provides special programs throughout the year.
Senior Breakfast: Senior citizens age 50 and up are welcome to meet the third Wednesday of each month at 8:30 am during the months of September through May. Breakfast is served and a short program follows. It is a wonderful time for senior citizens to fellowship together in an informal setting.
Mennonite Women: Women of all ages are invited to spend the second Wednesday of each month quiliting, knotting comforters, and completing various other projects that will be sent to mission agencies such as Mennonite Central Committee, Adriel, Sunshine Communities, and Fairlawn Haven Retirement Community. Lunch is served following a short program.
Family Meal: A mid-week break from cooking and a chance to fellowship with your church family once per month.
Small groups: The purpose of small groups is to encourage each participant to BE a part of God's family, BELONG to a group that cares for each other, and BECOME stronger in one's Christian walk. Zion Mennonite Church has a wide range of types of groups and meeting times. Please let us know if you'd like to be part of a small community within the larger one.
